This research critically examines the multifaceted dimensions of safeguarding human life through the prism of Islamic principles, aiming to articulate the significance of formulating a comprehensive, socially embedded policy for its protection. The objectives include elucidating the Islamic concept of the sanctity of human life, identifying critical factors for its preservation—such as the promotion of healthy living, violence prevention, peace promotion, environmental protection, education support, and women's empowerment—and arguing for their interconnectedness, emphasizing the need for a holistic plan. The study not only seeks to contribute valuable insights from original and secondary sources, encompassing the Holy Quran, authentic hadiths, jurisprudence texts, historical records, and various reports, but also aims to draw attention to the significance of diverse perspectives from scientific journals, international agreements, NGO reports, newspapers, magazines, and online sources. Beyond theoretical exploration, the research aims to provide practical applications by proposing a framework for implementing a comprehensive, socially embedded policy for human life protection, bridging the gap between theory and real-world impact. The ultimate goal is to inspire actionable strategies informed by Islamic principles that address the intricate web of factors influencing the preservation of human life, fostering a tangible and positive impact on communities and societies.
