Abstract

Time management refers to the allocation and organization of time to plan the day's priorities and tasks, aimed at achieving our vision, mission, objectives, and goals. It comprises two main components: planning and the determination to facilitate the completion of all priorities and tasks. Time spent in performing good deeds for the betterment of God's creatures, in obedience to Allah and in servitude, leads to positive outcomes. Conversely, time spent in worldly pursuits characterized by disobedience, idleness, and evil deeds can lead to adverse consequences for human life. As stated in the Qur'an: "And remember your Lord humbly in your heart and fearing and without uttering a word (remember thus) in the morning and in the evening, and do not be among those who are heedless (of the remembrance of God)." Additionally, according to a Prophetic Hadith narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah Bin Masoud RA: "Indeed, I strongly dislike the man whom I see free, neither engaged in any worldly activity nor in any Hereafter activity."Active organization and management of human life, along with crucial strategies for success and goal achievement, including self-evaluation and recognition, determination of life's motto for self-improvement, setting objectives, goals, and requirements, and initiating personal change and actions, all play significant roles in attaining objectives. Muslims are encouraged to organize their daily tasks while keeping their objectives in mind, fostering maturity in their practical endeavors. They are advised to create timetables and coordinate tasks accordingly. May Allah assist us in performing good deeds through effective time organization and management.
