Abstract

Parents have a fundamental responsibility to care for their children, with breastfeeding recognized as a basic right that significantly enhances a child's health and well-being. Islam places great emphasis on breastfeeding, offering comprehensive and detailed guidelines on the practice. These guidelines encompass various aspects, including the recommended duration of breastfeeding, the child's rights to nursing, and the respective responsibilities of the mother and father. Religious texts provide extensive information on the proper conduct of breastfeeding, its benefits, and the ethical considerations involved. This article explores these guidelines and rulings, providing a comprehensive understanding of the subject within the framework of Islamic teachings.
