Hazrat Sulṭān Bāhū is counted among the great Ṣūfīs of Punjab. He was born in 1039 AH during the reign of the Mughal Empire in Jhang Tehsīl Shūrkūt, Punjab. He wrote about 140 books on Ṣūfīsm, out of which 33 were printed. It is clear from his study that the Qurʼān had a profound influence on his personality. Through the important Sūfī commentary described in ʻAīn al-Faqr and Muhak Al-Faqr, the effects of the Holy Qurʼān on the teachings of Hazrat Sulṭān Bāhū have been examined, which shows that the purpose of his close worship, remembrance, and reflection is observation. He is divine. For the realization of divine knowledge, you have awakened this thought in society that Allah is with you all the time; you should live in this concept all the time. When one has established a relationship with Allah Taʻāla, it is contrary to Tawheed to hope in anyone other than Him. He had a lot of devotion and love for Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. According to you, the ummah is the one whose every step is followed by the Prophet, so it is impossible to travel the path of Faqr without following the Prophet. Haẓrat Sulṭān Bāhū passed away in 1102 AH in Shūrkūt.
