Abstract

Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) came with complete and comprehensive guidance for humanity. In very short period, he (SAW) changed the darkness of oppression and ignorance over the Arab world into the light of Divine teachings. He (SAW) was sent to complete all the moral values that are narrated in the Holy Qur'an.  These were practiced by him(SAW) and followed by  his (SAW) companion for example to mankind. He (peace be upon him) undertook to free the Quraysh of Makkah from obsolete traditions and ignorant customs and traditions, and laid the foundation of a universal spiritual, moral, political and cultural system by eliminating all prejudices of ignorance. History is a witness that the infidels of Makkah made desperate efforts to prevent him from speaking the truth and preaching the Da'wa-e-Islami. He offered material benefits, the rulership of Mecca, wealth and even an offer of marriage to a beautiful Arab woman, but he rejected everything and reserved his right to express his opinion. He did not let any greed, coercion, fear or material gain hinder him in spreading his beliefs and ideas, but he continued to spread his ideas fearlessly. This paper deals to examine the philosophy of Islamic broadcasting. Because of media is one of the major contributors to influencing and forming community behavior, the philosophy of Islamic based broadcasting media is particularly needed for Islamic media.
