Abstract

This research review explores the impermissibility of marriage with certain individuals and the concept of mahrams in light of the Qur'an and Hadith. The study delves into Islamic jurisprudence to understand the fundamental principles regarding prohibited marriages and the concept of mahram relationships, focusing on both the theological and legal perspectives. Through an analysis of key Qur'anic verses and Hadiths, the paper aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the boundaries set by Islamic law concerning marriage and familial relationships. By highlighting the moral, social, and legal implications, the review underscores the significance of these prohibitions in maintaining the sanctity of family and society in Islam.
