A Research Analysis of Javed Ahmed Ghamidi's Views on the Miracle of the Splitting of the Moon & Mi'raj

Abstract

Allah Almighty granted different miracles to the Prophets, and He clarified their purpose as well. He gave someone a stick, he gave someone the power to bring the dead back to life.  In addition, the event of the Shaq-al-Qamar and ascension is included. Quranic verses and many Hadiths related to these miracles have also been recorded.  Javed Ahmad Ghamdi who always establish their opinion apart from the public, fabricate their own theory, then interpret the Qur'anic verses according to their own opinion, and try to prove the Hadiths and events are wrong that have come up frequently, why should they not have to go against the position stated by their own teacher? The position of Javed Ahmad Ghamdi is that the hand of the Holy Prophet ﷺ did not issue the Shaq-al-Qamar and the ascension event was not physical either.  In this research, I have tried to evaluate these theories in the light of Quran and Sunnah.    My method is that first, the ideas of Javed Ahmad Ghamdi were described and his arguments were presented, then they were evaluated in the light of the Qur'an and Sunnah and the opinions of prominent scholars.  The purpose of this research is not only to evaluate Javed Ahmad Ghamdi's ideas but also to eliminate the doubts and doubts that are being cast by him regarding miracles in the Ummah. While these are miracles in neither the Ummah  Disagreement is not seen even among public scholars.
