Keywords:

This study dealt with explaining the disagreement between the scholars of the Hanafi school of thought, namely Imam Abu Hanifa, the imam of the school of thought, Imam Abu Yusuf, Imam Muhammad bin Al-Hasan Al-Shaybani, and Imam Zufar bin Al-Huzayl, who is considered the fourth man in the Hanafi school of thought. The limits of the study came in the issues in which Zafar contradicted Imam Abu Hanifa and his two companions in the chapter on Hajj from the book Bada’i’ al-Sana’i’. The study focused on various issues, mentioning the evidence for both groups of disagreement and discussion, and stating what is most likely in the disagreement in the researcher’s opinion. The study came out with several results, the most important of which is that the number of different issues among them (in acts of worship, i.e. purity, prayer, zakat, and Hajj) is forty-eight issues, and through this study it becomes clear to us the acquaintance of the three imams, Zufar bin al-Huzayl, and al-Kasani, the author of Bada’i’ al-Sana’i, with a definition of his book and an explanation of his approach to it.
