Abstract

Allah Almighty is not only the creator of man but also the Lord. Alongside the creation of man, He equipped them to navigate life's challenges and consistently guided humanity by sending His perfect and holy servants. While countless individuals have lived exemplary lives, the prophets stand out as beacons for all humanity. Their impeccable character, evident in every moment of their lives, is adorned with morality and noble qualities. Life and its challenges are intertwined; every individual faces their own struggles, including those related to trade and commerce. Allah has designated trade as a means to fulfill human economic needs, making traders integral to society. When trade aligns with Sharia principles and traders uphold righteousness, trustworthiness, and piety, society thrives in security and peace. Conversely, deviating from Sharia principles and engaging in dishonest practices leads to societal decay and oppression. Efforts should be made to ensure that business professionals are acquainted with the character of the Prophet (PBUH) and strive to emulate it. They should also prioritize supporting disadvantaged communities in earning lawful livelihoods and refrain from unlawful profiteering. It is imperative that trade does not distract from worship and righteous deeds. By upholding these principles, trade transcends mere profit-seeking and becomes a manifestation of religious values.
