This study aims to identify the psychological and social effects of divorce on children, recognizing the substantial impact divorce has on family environments and the yearly prevalence of children navigating such life-altering transitions. The research explores the correlation between parental divorce and the social, psychological behaviors, and academic performance of children from separated families, as perceived by elementary teachers, family members, and parents. The findings reveal a profound influence of divorce on children's behavior, with a comprehensive examination of socio-psychological indicators and academic performance. Statistical analyses indicate a significantly negative impact on children's social, psychological behavior, and educational achievements. Employing a mixed-methods approach encompassing qualitative interviews, observations, and quantitative surveys, the study assembles a comprehensive dataset. The insights derived from this research contribute to an enhanced understanding of the challenges faced by children of divorced parents. Furthermore, the study provides valuable perspectives for policymakers, educators, and mental health professionals engaged with this demographic, offering a foundation for informed decision-making and tailored support mechanisms.
