The primary sources for Tafsir, including the Quran, Hadith, and teachings of the early generations (Salaf), are introduced. The article also examines scholars' views on incorporating Israelite traditions into Tafsir, analyzes the methodological intricacies of interpreting through the Arabic language, and explores scholars' preferences evident in language choices.
